Workers: Prepare for Communist Class War!<\/span><\/h4>\n

July 8\u2014 US bombs rained down on Iran. Iranian missiles targeted US bases in Bahrain and Kuwait. Ukrainian drones struck Russian oil refineries. Russian missiles and drones attacked Kyiv.<\/p>\n

All this while NATO leaders met in T\u00fcrkiye to prepare for wider war against Russia.<\/p>\n

This summit has been called \u201cNATO 3.0 \u2013 a battle-ready coalition.\u201d<\/p>\n

Battle-ready.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Media coverage focused elsewhere. Trump\u2019s attacks on NATO allies. His threats to leave NATO.<\/p>\n

Leaving is an empty threat. It would require congressional action and majorities of both parties support NATO. European diplomats know that. They refused to take Trump\u2019s bait. They ignored his brags, complaints, and insults to focus on results.<\/p>\n

Like continuing to increase European countries\u2019 war spending. Like a US agreement to allow Ukraine to build Patriot air defense systems.<\/p>\n

Like expanding Europe\u2019s industrial base for war production.<\/p>\n

But the main contradiction shaped the summit. European rulers see Russia as an existential threat. The US doesn\u2019t. So European capitalists need an orderly transition toward reducing their military dependency on the US.<\/p>\n

Russian imperialism, in turn, sees NATO expansion into central and eastern Europe as an existential threat. That\u2019s what provoked its invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n

European leaders have called for Russia\u2019s \u201cstrategic defeat\u201d in Ukraine, Russia understands this to mean its destruction as a major power.<\/p>\n

Europeans foolishly believe, declared Dmitry Trenin in the Russian outlet RT, that \u201cRussia would rather accept defeat, degradation and disintegration than use the arsenal which it currently possesses. This arsenal is not limited to nuclear weapons, although the point may be reached when they will have to be used.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe US nuclear umbrella is ultimate guarantor of Europe\u2019s security,\u201d said NATO Secretary-<\/p>\n

General Mark Rutte. Apparently, he still believes in \u201cdeterrence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Capitalist Competition Is Root of Imperialist War<\/strong><\/p>\n

What\u2019s the material basis of this imperialist conflict? And why weren\u2019t we hearing about China, Russia\u2019s \u201csilent partner\u201d and Europe\u2019s competitor?<\/p>\n

\u201cCentral and Eastern Europe offer German companies an emerging sales market and a growing sourcing region. But Chinese companies are increasingly competing directly with the German economy,\u201d explained a German consultant.<\/p>\n

Western Europe is still more important to Chinese capitalists than Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). But their strategic outposts are Serbia and Hungary. German and Chinese finance capitalists compete to invest more in CEE.<\/p>\n

Take electric vehicles. Germany is the world\u2019s second-largest producer of EVs \u2013 after China. Chinese companies have now built factories in Hungary to produce components for, and to assemble, EVs. The Chinese and Hungarian rulers have agreed on plans for EV charging stations. As well as for railway construction, oil pipelines, and nuclear energy.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Volkswagen reported a 20% drop in sales in China in the first quarter of 2026. It plans to cut 100,000 jobs and close four factories.\u202fTo German capitalists, auto profits are worth fighting over.<\/p>\n

Major US corporations fund the Asia Society Policy Institute. This institute recently called Spring 2026 \u201ca turning point in EU-China relations.\u201d European rulers are rethinking their policies of welcoming Chinese direct investments.<\/p>\n

European capitalists worry about access to critical minerals. A French think-tank warned that Europe could be reduced to assembly operations while \u201cvalue-creation\u201d becomes concentrated in China.<\/p>\n

European capitalists are running a trade deficit of \u20ac1 billion a day. A German economist argues that this growing trade imbalance \u201cis eroding the core of German industry, especially in the car, machinery and chemicals sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n

Expanding Europe\u2019s industrial base for war production means sharpening competition with Chinese imperialism.<\/p>\n

Only Communist Revolution Can Defeat Imperialism and End Its Wars<\/strong><\/p>\n

Workers create all value. Wherever we are, we\u2019re part of one international working class.<\/p>\n

Capitalism\u2019s core isn\u2019t trade. It\u2019s exploitation. The working class keeps in wages only a tiny fraction of the wealth we produce. The rest becomes some boss\u2019s profits.<\/p>\n

Capitalists fight globally to maximize their share of those profits. To them, we workers are disposable. To be hired, driven, laid off, and sent to fight wars that only benefit the capitalists themselves.<\/p>\n

To workers, it\u2019s the bosses who are disposable. Let\u2019s get rid of them and their deadly system!<\/p>\n

No more borders or nations to send us to war.<\/p>\n

Instead of \u201ctrading\u201d (buying and selling) we\u2019ll share. We\u2019ll produce what our class needs.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s fight for a world where nobody anywhere lives better or worse than anyone else. A communist world.<\/p>\n

We need to develop mass communist consciousness and prepare for armed revolution.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s how the working class gets \u201cbattle-ready.\u201d By building an International Communist Workers\u2019 Party that can lead masses to win the class war.
