Rebellion in Sri Lanka Shows Urgency of Communist Organizing

June 1— Angry masses in Sri Lanka protest the worst economic crisis in decades. They have attacked offices and homes of openly corrupt capitalist rulers. Food prices are skyrocketing in this Indian Ocean island nation. Water and fuel are scarce.

Electricity functions only a few hours a day. Mass insurrectionary violence in Sri Lanka heralds a growing worldwide rebellion against wage slavery. Communists must recruit mass organizers to ICWP everywhere to transform this storm into communist revolution.

Comrades in nearby Chennai, India are distributing Red Flag massively to young workers. Many in Chennai have friends or relatives in Sri Lanka.
