Workers Around the World Send Messages of Communist Solidarity to Boeing Strikers

Boeing Renton plant (WA, USA), Oct. 22   The ICWP international solidarity leaflet was warmly received by Boeing strikers. This led to discussions about how inspiring the strike is to workers worldwide.

Workers around the world feel a connection to the Boeing strikers. Many of them understand that the fight against the capitalist bosses is an international fight, just as the bosses understand that they need to subjugate and impoverish the workers around the world in order to maintain their own profits.

Adding insult to injury, Boeing has announced that it is laying off 10% of its workforce. And not only Boeing workers. From India to South Africa to El Salvador, workers are being laid off or are finding no jobs available for them.

International Communist Workers’ Party (ICWP) comrades in India, South Africa, El Salvador, and Los Angeles have written letters of solidarity. They understand the importance of industrial work – a necessity for the capitalists, but also necessary for us to make a revolution.

Capitalism, in crisis around the world, is marching ever more rapidly to World War III. The capitalist rulers will need industrial workers to build the weapons and soldiers to deploy them. The international solidarity in response to the Boeing strike illuminates the potential of our class. We have a world to win!

Bengaluru Garment Workers and Boeing Workers: Same Fight

Many of our comrades live in slums near Bengaluru airport. We used to look at the giant Boeing airplanes daily and never realized the workers were toiling to make those airplanes. The strike by Boeing workers shows that they are exploited the same way we are. Also forced to live under capitalist wage slavery. The Boeing workers who make low wages struggle like the garment workers here. Let us unite and build ICWP, the only force that will eliminate the root cause of exploitation. We want communism now.

Boeing Struggle Motivates South African Comrades

The comrades in South Africa send our message of solidarity to the Boeing workers. Your struggle motivates us to fight for communism. You are not only fighting exploitation and the horrors of capitalism. You are also fighting against the bosses’ support of the war in Gaza. Boeing’s bombs and planes are actively contributing to the genocide there.

Your strike is inspiring. We have seen pictures of young and older workers marching with our comrades against these injustices and also against the genocide and imperialist war that have been perpetuated by your bosses.

Your work and determination inspire us. It shows that once there is unity within the working class, all is possible. We can achieve a communist revolution.

The bosses are doing everything in their power to further divide us. But the Boeing strikers have shown a high level of unity. This serves as an example to workers around the world. It serves as a motivating factor for us to try to unify workers around the world with our communist ideas.

Forward, Comrades. With the determination that you have shown, you will prevail. Hopefully, more and more of you can join our comrades and our party and the fight for communism.

Chennai Comrades Support the Strike by Building ICWP

Dear Comrades,

Our collective met to discuss how to build a stronger ICWP to take advantage of the Boeing strike in the USA.

A comrade who works in the automobile industry said, “The Boeing workers in the US are facing job cuts. We are also facing a huge reduction in the workforce. The capitalist bosses are preparing for highly automated electric car manufacturing. That will force many of us to be on the streets. Some of the Boeing products were used in the genocide in Gaza. Boeing and an Indian billionaire, Tata, have formed a separate joint venture that produces fuselages for the Apache helicopters.”

Another comrade told us, “The attack on the Boeing workers must be translated into more communists joining ICWP. We are trying to contact the Boeing workers in Hyderabad, which employs 6000 technical workers. We have sent them our Red Flags.”

We resolved to support the Boeing strike by building our party. We fight the same battle against billionaire capitalists worldwide. But they are few; we are many. Let us unite the working class for communism.

Revolutionary greetings from the maquila workers in El Salvador.

This is a message of solidarity with the workers of Boeing, who are currently on strike over a contract that does not meet the workers’ needs.

We, as fighters for a Communist system and members of ICWP, have read and shared the leaflet about the Boeing strike with many workers in the factory,  and in the meetings of our  collectives.

The leaflet inspired many workers, as it expressed all the necessary support for the Boeing workers in this time of struggle, and because we understand that we are one class worldwide, the working class.

The capitalist bosses exploit us everywhere in the world, but the working class has the power to change the capitalist exploiting system at its roots.

Only the Communist system will have the dignified conditions that workers need.

Have strength, our class brothers and sisters, until the victory of Communism.

Revolutionary greetings to the Boeing workers from MTA workers in Los Angeles, California, USA.

This letter comes from  mechanics, service attendants and others.

Your strike is an inspiration to us. We know that during strikes we need the support of the family and the entire working class— nationally and internationally.

During the strikes that we have organized in the past, we have struggled to awaken the political consciousness of the workers, especially communist consciousness.

We understand that we cannot spend our lives fighting for reforms. In the future we will fight and defend ourselves in a better way: we need the power of the international working class fighting for a society without exploitation—a communist society.

Forward, Comrades
