Capitalism Creates Refugee Crises— Communism Will End Them!

April 12— The Chinese fascist imperialists are increasing militarization and belligerent rhetoric toward the small island of Taiwan. They are accelerating their plans to invade and annex Taiwan to counter the US imperialists. Some sources predict a potential invasion as early as 2027.

A military invasion of Taiwan will kill working-class soldiers on both sides and destroy infrastructure, inflict psychological trauma, and murder and displace countless Taiwanese working-class families residing near potential war zones. The working class will become poorer, and the capitalist class will become richer. US working-class soldiers and sailors stationed in Taiwan will also be at risk of being killed in the imperialist war.

US imperialism’s military aid to the Taiwanese capitalists, under the guise of supporting democracy, serves to escalate tensions further. This aid primarily benefits defense contractors and the military-industrial complex, diverting resources that could otherwise address social issues such as healthcare, unemployment, and homelessness. The working class bears the brunt of this militarization, both through the allocation of public funds away from essential services and the potential for being drawn into another protracted imperialist war.

Compounding the imperialist crisis is US imperialism’s openly fascist deportations of immigrant workers, tourists, international students, and even (Trump hopes) US citizens. The US fascist rulers are working harder than ever to divide and terrorize the working class using extreme racism, nationalism, nativism, and xenophobia, as a declining US imperialism confronts rising Chinese and Russian imperialism. The US rulers are also building up racism against ethnic Chinese workers as the rulers prepare to confront their rival major superpower.

Given the current level of fascism by the US imperialists, many Taiwanese refugees forced out of their homes by a Chinese invasion may be denied entry to the US and deported back to Taiwan to face death and destruction. Even though the US government is sending military aid to the Taiwanese government to compete with their Chinese capitalist counterparts over Taiwan, US imperialism and other capitalist governments will not save Taiwanese refugees. All capitalist-imperialists are complicit in this fascist disaster. No capitalist genuinely cares about workers’ lives.

Capitalist-imperialists of all countries are fighting each other to the death for territorial control and profit accumulation. Fascist terrorists Putin and Netanyahu have already bombed and mass-murdered tens of thousands of workers in Ukraine and Palestine, and displaced millions more. Ukraine’s fascist dictator Zelenskyy has also launched several terrorist attacks on Russian territory, buildings, and civilians. Millions of working class families have already been displaced, and more families will be displaced when Xi Jinping invades Taiwan and kills Taiwanese workers.

Human rights organizations, which are pro-capitalist, fight for reforms and will never end the international refugee crisis created by capitalism-imperialism. The capitalist-imperialist system will endlessly make wars to murder workers for maximum profits and create more refugee populations.

There is only one solution. We need to call on workers, soldiers, and sailors from Taiwan, Mainland China, the US, and the rest of the world to join and help build the ICWP. Together we need to fight racism, nationalism, xenophobia, and all divisions. Once the soldiers and sailors are mobilized for communism, the masses will take up arms and make communist revolutions across the planet to wipe out all capitalists and imperialists and their wage slavery and profits.

We fight directly for a communist world without nations, borders, and imperialist wars. In communism, no worker will be forced out of their homes or deported. Production and work will be only to meet the needs of everyone, not for profits and wages. No one will live better or worse than anyone else. The communist masses will struggle against the vestiges of racist nationalist divisions. Children in communist society will grow up learning to treat each other as comrades, brothers and sisters. Everyone will share in society’s responsibilities and hold multiple jobs. Scientific technology in communism will be used not for capitalist profits but to improve the lives and well-being of all the workers of the world.
