EL SALVADOR, August 22— “I work at a factory I just transferred to,” said Z. “I’m the only one there who belongs to the ICWP. I want to win over coworkers and form a cell at that factory. When I talk to my coworkers about communism and they ask me questions, I feel like I lack knowledge. I feel like I can’t answer everything they ask me, and I’d like to know more so I can win over workers.”
He continued, “It would be good if, in these expanded meetings, we discussed how to explain communism to others. I think we need to know more. Perhaps in cell meetings with our comrades we can gradually expand this knowledge.”
This is a criticism and self-criticism from a comrade who is advancing along the Party’s line. We must discuss dialectics and contradictions more with our comrades. There is an urgent need to discuss the issues raised by this communist worker so that we can win more comrades over to the Party’s line.
“I’m looking for ways to distribute the Red Flag newspaper, because the situation we’re experiencing in this factory is similarly one of severe wage slavery. The repression and exploitation by the bosses and the system are the same, and I feel the need to win over more comrades to the Party.”
He explained: “I left the factory where I was with my ICWP comrades and we met frequently. I arrived at the new wage slavery center. I continue to fight to spread the Party’s ideas among other workers, as the only way to achieve a different life. I want to feel well-informed and not be afraid to explain the Party’s line.
“I don’t want my children to live under this repressive system,” Z concluded. “I want them to have a different life. For this, the struggle for communist revolution, organized in the ICWP, is the only way out for us, the working class.”
We must continue with the study groups on communist philosophy, fascism, and the military struggle for communism. So that comrades in factories and other ICWP concentrations can spread the Party’s line.
Everyone should feel this need for knowledge. Red Flag and the Party’s website have a lot of information about these internal struggles in different parts of the world where the Party is active and working toward fulfilling the ideal: communist revolution.
