Mass Rebellion in Thailand

September 19 ‐ One hundred thousand people, led by college and high school students, marched on Bangkok’s Grand Palace against Thailand’s monarchy and its fascist military government. This capped a month of growing protests, larger and bolder than ever. There are calls for an October 15 general strike.
This fight is for democratic reforms. It reflects a divide within the old “establishment” and perhaps the sharpening conflict over whether Thailand will remain allied with the US or tilt decisively toward China.
But the youth want real change: “Let it end with our generation!” A million tweeted #whydoweneedaking?” What’s needed is a revolutionary fight for communism. #whydoweneed capitalism?
