USA: Bringing Communism to Reformist Women’s Marches

Seattle march here ♦ Pasadena and LA marches here ♦

LOS ANGELES (USA), October 2— “Revolution is in the house!”  called out a friend, spotting a communist poster on a car lining up in an otherwise reformist “Women’s March” caravan in Pasadena.  Participants had already taken 65 copies of the ICWP pamphlet “The Communist Fight against Sexism” and dozens of copies of Red Flag.  At the same time, thousands were marching in downtown Los Angeles, where eight comrades distributed 300 copies of Red Flag and 200 of the pamphlet.  These events were among 600 nationwide responding to the fascist Texas anti-abortion law.

SEATTLE (USA), October 2—Protesters at the Women’s March thanked comrades for raising the issue of the atrocious treatment of Haitians at the Texas border.  Our sign and Red Flag put communism on the agenda, making the elimination of sexism, racism and national borders hot topics of discussion. We distributed more than 100 copies of Red Flag.
